Misao is an energetic, youhtful, courageous, 
and caring young ninja girl who was raised 
by the Oniwa Banshu. She is an excellent 
fighter, loves adventure, and has a huge 
crush on her mentor, Aoshi. Misao is sarc-
astic, sly, determined, highly independant, 
outgoing, thoughtful, and she'll stop at 
nothing to get what she wants. Even though 
often steadfast and battle-tough, Misao some-
times lets her softer side show through. Misao 
is always in her blue ninja uniform, long 
braid, and often-in-hand throwing knives. 
She also wears sandals and has her feet, 
ankles, and calves wrapped for support during 
battle.

tall, dark and dangerous

Aoshi, is the Great Leader of the Oniwa Banshu.
He is a quiet, intense young man who is good at 
blending into the shadows, and remaining on 
people's minds. Aoshi takes life very seriously 
and practices mediation and intense training 
to keep himself in perfect balance. He fought 
with the Oniwa Banshu members through the rev-
olution and continued his offbeat lifestyle as 
a swordsman and martial artist even as the new 
era promoted peace. He stayed with his Oniwa 
Banshu and gave the members of the group some-
thing to live for. He was a proud leader and a 
good friend who wanted everyone to know how 
strong he and the Oniwa Banshu was. Aoshi begins 
as a bad guy, working for Kanryu Takeda, the man 
who was forcing Megumi to make cheap cocaine.  
He was ordered by Kanryu to stop Kenshin from 
rescuing Megumi.  In the end he became friends 
with the Kenshin Gumi.
